As such, the appointment of a discretionary Investment Manager, effectively transfers responsibility and any corresponding liability for the prudence of investment management process to Fi401k Advisors, LLC.
Discretionary Investment Management
As a Registered Investment Adviser, Fi401k Advisors is able to perform as the designated Investment Manager to qualified plan - under ERISA 3(38). As a result, Fi401k Advisors performs in a discretionary capacity that allows them to convert traditional reporting data into actionable advice that conforms with a plan’s investment governance documentation. Furthermore, as a discretionary Investment Manager, Fi401k Advisors actively evaluates any investment tracking/reporting discrepancies to determine if an existing investment option(s) merit replacement and communicates a directive to transact an exchange into a more appropriate investment alternative.
Model/Managed Portfolios
In addition, as the plan's designated Investment Manager, Fi401k Advisors can create Model Portfolios to provide direction to plan participants who may need assistance in determining the appropriate allocation among the plan's available investment options. Thereto, three to six Model Portfolios can be deployed within the plan that are designed to achieve predetermined investment objectives or accommodate various investor personalities. When Model Portfolios are included in a plan, plan participants can effectively hand control of their investment allocations to the plan's Investment Manager to actively reallocate or recompose institutional portfolios for the benfit of enrolled participants.
Fiduciary Warranty
